Sri N Srilakshmi is an active member of People Welfare Society, Vijayawada since 1993. She took over the leadership of the organization in 2002 and since then she contributed immensely for the welfare of the people of South India.

People Welfare Society aims at establishing training centers to un-employed youth & women, creating environmental awareness activities & seminars, women & Child activities, agriculture welfare programs for rural people, health & nutrition programs, rural & urban slum development, adult education development & against child labor, anti-corruption & right to information act awareness programs. She was honored with Prathibha Award in 2006, Jana Vignana Vedika Award in 2007, Placement Excellency Award in 2009, Green Earth Award in 2011 and Praja Bandu Birudu in 2012. She has won many laurels from state and central authorities for her services in Krishna, West Godavari, Guntur and Prakasam Districts of Andhra Pradesh. Her future plan is to establish training centers to un-employed youth & women, environmental awareness activities & seminars, agriculture welfare programs for rural people, health & nutrition programs and serving society.
